Pricing of genealogy services
Your Czech family history deserves to be told.
Every name in a family tree once belonged to a person with their own fate, joys, and struggles. For me, building a family tree is not just mechanical data entry, but an effort to bring old stories back to life—stories that would otherwise remain forgotten in archives. I will gladly help you piece together these fragments of the past into a complete picture.
I have been engaged in genealogical research for more than 17 years. During that time, I have incorporated over 39106 people into my own family tree, allowing me to see connections and relationships that are often missed in standard research.
I charge €12 for each record found. I do not require any upfront fees—you only pay for real results and verified data.
What will be the result of my research?
A clear spreadsheet of all found events (births, marriages, deaths) including literal transcriptions from old registries.
Sample spreadsheetImages of original registry records in graphic format, so you have direct evidence of your ancestors.

Searching in history is an open-ended adventure. To avoid any confusion, the price is fixed at €12 per record found. Before starting, we always agree on a financial limit that will never be exceeded
I issue the invoice only after the entire family tree is completed and only for records that I have demonstrably found.
I monitor the agreed limit. If we approach it, I pause the work and we discuss the next steps together.
Processed family trees are your property. I do not share, publish, or provide them to public databases.

This website rabek.cz serves as a showcase of my own genealogical research. You will find 384 family trees here that I created for my own purposes and as proof of my precision. No client data is ever published here.
I have also applied my experience in preparing historical materials for the books Lexicon of those walking the world (Lexikon světem jdoucích), where I received official acknowledgment for my contribution.

Will my data and results remain secure?
Your privacy is sacred to me. I do not share the results of my research publicly or “for free.” The family tree is exclusively for your use, and any online version on MyHeritage is always private, accessible only to people you invite.

What if nothing is found in the records?
Genealogy depends on preserved materials. If a record is missing or a registry is lost, you pay nothing. I only charge for successfully verified data.

How long does it take to build a family tree?
Each family tree is unique. Typically, results are achieved within a few weeks. I will keep you informed of progress by email.

How are you different from large genealogical agencies?
Unlike large companies, you are not paying for marketing or offices. You communicate directly with the researcher and pay only for found records.
